Our TechPartner Engineers are available to evaluate any potential changes during operations. They can optimize the total cost of ownership and compliance. They can help with troubleshooting any specific issue that might arise while processing Carmeuse products.
Carmeuse TechPartner Engineers have a long experience in many industrial sectors, with many different processes designed by a wide range of engineering companies. This source of information/skills is made available to you during our entire collaboration:
- On-site technical audits.
- Sampling and lab analyses (on site produced Milk of lime, by-products.
- Parameters evaluation for troubleshooting.
- Evaluation and recommendations for new set points/product specifications to realign operations with new needs/requirements/situations.
- Optimizing of Carmeuse products processing.
- Evaluation and improvement of Carmeuse product the storage, dosing, preparation, and handling, including Milk of lime preparation and use.
- Feasibility studies to integrate our solutions in your plant.
Carmeuse TechPartner Engineers are fully equipped to run such activities, thanks to:
- Mobile measurement equipment: to measure on-site key parameters.
- Mobile pilot units: to run trials with alternative setups/reagent, while taking no risk (as the installed line remains unchanged).
- Network of laboratories specialized in chemical analysis of your materials.
- Laboratories resources to simulated industrial chemical processes involving Carmeuse products.
- Laboratories specialized in soil treatment, use our Carmeuse product in civil engineering and building materials.
- Lab scale and pilot scale equipment to defined optimum set up process to prepare the milk of lime complying with your processes.
Field support for Civil Engineering: Technical Advice and Mobile Laboratory
In our commitment to providing a unique service, we emphasize understanding and meeting the needs of our customers. To this end, we have invested significantly in a state-of-the-art mobile road laboratory. This innovative equipment allows us to perform important data measurements on our product solutions instantly, even immediately after compaction.
The services offered by our mobile laboratory have gained huge recognition from road suppliers. They realize the invaluable advantage of getting real-time results. This capability allows them to quickly address any potential issues with stakeholders, ensuring large-scale projects run smoothly and are completed on time.
Our on-site capabilities include a comprehensive range of analyses including bearing capacity assessment, sampling, soil type determination, density and humidity measurements and pH analysis. This comprehensive suite of services empowers our clients with the critical insights they need to make informed decisions, enhancing the overall quality and longevity of their projects.
We recognize that time is of the essence in large-scale construction projects, and our commitment to delivering timely, precise data empowers our clients to make informed decisions that drive project success.
Field support for Environment: On-Site Demonstration Trial
Because emission control levels are closely watched by authorities and Flue Gas Cleaning (FGC) represents a non-negligible cost, there is no room for error during FGC implementation. While contractual guarantees offer some protection, the best option for minimizing risk and ensuring the proper process is a demonstration trial.
Carmeuse owns and operates a fleet of mobile pilot storing and dosing units allowing:
- to demonstrate different FGC processes,
- to determine and optimize the process condition and reagent characteristic/dosage to minimize the compliance cost for our customers,
- to comply with legislation during the construction of the definitive FGC installation,
- to comply with legislation during an outage, failure or unavailability of their FGC unit.
Field support for Agriculture: GPS-based Soil Sampling & Advisory Service*
We specialize in automated soil sampling using GPS technology. Our services include groundwater and soil sampling, plant analysis, formulation of soil conservation strategies, and comprehensive environmental assessments. First, we conduct a thorough field survey using GPS. After gaining a deep understanding of the field conditions, we create a tailored on-site soil sampling plan utilizing a GIS program.
We navigate and survey the designated sampling routes using GPS units attached to the samplers, ensuring precision within a few meters when visiting selected sampling points identified during on-site reconnaissance. The provided sampling data remains valid for 3-4 years. Upon subsequent sampling, we can replicate the original route to monitor and document any changes in the series.
* An extra support that does not belong to TechPartner Engineers, but Carmeuse can offer it thanks to the cooperation with AgroForce International.
